The private residence of the Minister of State, FCT, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, at Abuja’s highbrow area, in Asokoro district, was completely gutted by fire today, Sunday afternoon.
It was gathered that nothing was salvaged from the No. 9, Justice Roseline Ukeji Close, Asokoro, as emergency fire fighters were slow to arrive the location.
Our correspondent reports that even though no official statement has been issued on the incident, the Media aide to the minister, Mr. Austine Elemue, who confirmed the incident, said the cause of the fire outbreak is being investigated.
