The supporters of African Democratic Congress ( ADC) in Katsina State have turned out enmass and welcomed their gubernatorial candidate Ahmed Babban Kaita who returned safely from medical trip abroad.
Spokesman to the gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Abubakar who made this known in a statement to the Citizenship Media on Monday in Katsina said with the return of the gubernatorial candidate, they are fully ready to wrest power from APC in Katsina.
“Even though he tried to make his return a low key event but party supporters refused, in view of his popularity and the yearning of Katsina State citizens for a positive change
Ahmed said that immediately on arrival, the gubernatorial candidate travelled to Dutsin-Ma and attended the funeral prayer of Alhaji Sabe Hassan Makera a younger brother to prominent politician, Alhaji Aminu Makera.
The spokesman said that the deceased was also an uncle to a close associate of the gubernatorial candidate, Hon Surajo Aminu-Makera.
“With the return of our gubernatorial candidate, the ADC will continue its campaigns rigorously for all the elective positions targeting Katsina State voters who have been waiting anxiously for their candidate’s arrival” he added
