NPFL: Wikki Tourists shock Enyimba in Aba, Rivers United edge Wolves in South-South derby

Wikki Tourists pulled off a stunning 1-0 victory over Enyimba in a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 13 clash in Aba on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Abubakar Aliyu netted the decisive goal in the 33rd minute to hand the visitors all three points. The defeat marked Enyimba’s second home loss of the campaign.
Ikorodu City climbed to the top of the standings following a 2-1 comeback win against Plateau United at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos. Joseph Arumala and Alade Balogun scored for the hosts, while Wisdom Ndon grabbed Plateau United’s lone goal.
Nasarawa United slipped to second place after being held to a 1-1 draw away at Kun Khalifat. Last season’s goal king, Anas Yusuf, put Nasarawa ahead in the 15th minute, before Stanley Otu equalised with 25 minutes left.
In Port Harcourt, Rivers United secured a 2-1 win over Warri Wolves in an entertaining South-South derby. Adebambo Ademola gave Wolves the early advantage in the 25th minute, before Emmanuel Nnaji and Samuel Obi turned the match around for the Pride of Rivers.
Elsewhere, Niger Tornadoes defeated Katsina United 2-0 in Minna courtesy of goals from Ismail Sarki and Abdulrasheed Dabai.
At the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa, Bayelsa United beat Abia Warriors 2-1. Chinedu Sunday opened scoring inside six minutes, Sunday Megwo drew Warriors level in the 38th minute, but Chinedu Emmanuel restored the home side’s lead four minutes past the hour mark.
