The Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has thanked the Head of State, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu over the appointment of four illustrious sons of the State to Federal Government Key Positions.

The appreciation was contained in a press statement by Governor Dikko Umar Radda’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Malam Ibrahim Kaula issued to the Citizenship Daily in Katsina on Thursday.

while congratulating the appointees, Radda noted that the appointments of the four distinguished personalities by President Tinubu is well- deserved

“I have no doubt the appointments will bring their competences to bear with the task given to them”.

He said that the appointees are people who have excelled in their chosen fields stressing that, President Tinubu has made the choice by putting the right pegs at the right holes at the right time” he said.

He pledged that the four distinguished personalities from his state will execute their duties diligently in accordance to the laid down principles in the respective places assigned to them by Mr. President.

Governor Radda warmly celebrated the reappointment of Professor Idris M. Bugaje as Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for a fresh five-year term spanning 2026 to 2031. A seasoned academic and administrator of proven ability, Prof. Bugaje holds a doctorate degree and has spent decades championing the cause of technical and vocational education in Nigeria.

During his first term, he repositioned the NBTE as a more responsive and result-driven regulatory body, driving accreditation reforms, expanding access to technical education across the country and strengthening industry-institution linkages that are critical to youth employability.

Governor Radda noted that his reappointment is a loud testament to his exceptional performance and expressed confidence that the second term will unlock even broader opportunities for Nigeria’s teeming young people seeking skills-based education and training.

The Governor also felicitated with Engr. (Dr.) Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz on his re appointment as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), where he equally represents Executive Management on the company’s Governing Board.

Governor Radda described the appointment as a fitting recognition of Dr. Abdulaziz’s deep engineering expertise and his proven capacity to drive the urgent transformation of Nigeria’s power transmission infrastructure, which remains central to the country’s economic growth and industrialisation goals.

The Governor equally celebrated Senator Ibrahim Ida,The Wazirin Katsina on his appointment as Chairman of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). He described Senator Ida as a man of vast legislative experience and sound knowledge of business and governance, saying his leadership of the CAC will bring renewed vigour to the regulation of corporate entities and the promotion of a healthier business environment in Nigeria.

In the same vein, Governor Radda rejoiced with Professor Sadiq Isah Radda on his appointment as Federal Commissioner at the National Population Commission. The Governor said his robust academic background and wide administrative experience make him exceptionally qualified to contribute to Nigeria’s population data governance at a time when accurate demographic data is vital for national planning and development.

While commending President Tinubu for finding Katsina indigenes worthy of national assignments, Governor Radda charged all four appointees to remain upright, transparent and purposeful in the discharge of their responsibilities.

“Katsina is proud of you. Serve Nigeria with integrity and let your work speak for the state that produced you,” he charged the appointees to discharge their duties in the interest of the country.

On behalf of the Government and the people of Katsina State, Governor Radda congratulated the new appointees and wished them well in their national assignment.
