The Kebbi Development Forum, KDF, has expressed sympathy with his Royal Highness, the Emir of Yauri, the Yauri Emirate Community, and the family of the Alhaji Ibrahim K. Aliyu, Matawallen Yauri over his passing.
A statement by Dr. Saidu Abubakar Chairman, Executive Council, Kebbi Development Forum described the late Aliyu as a true statesman.
The KDF statement further noted: “As the pioneer SSG of Kebbi State and 8-year Deputy Governor, he served with dedication, wisdom, and love for the people. His doors were always open and his legacy of service will remain with us.
“Today Yauri has lost a father, and Kebbi has lost an elder.
“We pray that Almighty Allah forgives him, grants him Jannatul Firdaus and gives the family and Emirate the strength to bear this loss.”
