Zamfara APC stakeholders match to appreciate Tinubu over Yari’s DG campaign appointment

The Zamfara State All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders, members, support groups and loyalists matched 7 kilometers distance in appreciation of Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar’s appointment as Director General, Presidential Campaign by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

From Sidi Ibrahim Kaulahi, in GusauThe match which took off from the Zamfara Trade Fair Ground through Gusau-Sokoto bypass road and terminated at Government House Gusau on Wednesday had witnessed a massive turn out.Speaking while delivering an appreciation letter to Governor Dauda Lawal for onward submission to President Tinubu, the state Chairman of the APC, Hon. Kabiru Moyi Birnin Magaji, said that President Tinubu will, in the forthcoming 2027 Presidential election, win a landslide victory in the state.Governor Lawal who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Malam Mani Mummuni, said considering the large number of APC supporters who participated in the 7 kilometers road walk, it indicated the popularity and strength of the party in the state.The Chairman of the A.A Yari Political Organisation, Dr. Lawal M. Liman, who spoke on behalf of the APC support groups, described Senator Yari’s appointment as a strategic decision that would strengthen the party’s chances of winning the 2027 elections.M. Liman expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for entrusting the former Zamfara State Governor with the responsibility of coordinating the party’s presidential campaign.Dr. Liman said the appointment reflected President Tinubu’s confidence in Senator Yari’s political experience, organisational capacity, strategic insight and commitment to the unity and progress of the APC.He noted that Senator Yari’s experience as a two-term governor of Zamfara State, coupled with his extensive grassroots political network and understanding of Nigeria’s political landscape, would be valuable in coordinating the party’s campaign across the country.The Chairman said APC support groups were confident that Senator Yari’s ability to mobilise stakeholders, engage diverse political interests and promote unity would contribute significantly to the party’s campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections.He assured President Tinubu that the Yari Political Organisation, Shehi Movement, Yari 774 Initiative and other APC support groups in Zamfara State were ready to work under Senator Yari’s leadership to mobilise support and strengthen grassroots engagement.He said the groups would take the APC’s campaign message to wards, local government areas and communities across Zamfara State and beyond.Dr. Lawal M. Liman Gabdon Kaura also called for unity, sacrifice and collective commitment among APC members and supporters, saying the task ahead required all stakeholders to work together for the success of the party.
