Governor Radda greets FRCN at 75

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has commended the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) on the occasion of its 75th anniversary.

Malam Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed,Chief Press Secretary (CPS), to Governor Dikko Umar Radda made this known in a statement to the Citizenship Daily in Katsina on Thursday.

According to the CPS, the governor commended the corporation’s management and staff for seven decades of dedicated service to Nigeria.

“The FRCN has been a pillar of news gathering, news processing and news dissemination for 75 years now, I commend you for that feat”.

“You have kept the public informed by educating and entertaining us.” Governor Radda said

Radda appreciated the critical role Radio Nigeria plays in reaching out to million Nigerians across the nation.
.
He noted that FRCN has remained a trusted and reliable source of news and entertainment for generations.

“The Radio remains one of the most powerful and reliable mediums of communication in Nigeria and even beyond.”

” I can acknowledge, your organisation, has upheld all the ethical standards of journalism”

“As you maintained professionalism in your service with utmost dedication and integrity,” the Governor asserted.

Governor Radda used the occasion to urge the station to continue its vital role and called on the corporation to adapt to changing times in line with the international best practice.

“On behalf of the Government and the people of Katsina State, i wish the corporation continued success in its future endeavours”

“I pray for your more years of impactful service to the state and the nation in general” Governor” added.
