Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, has flagged off the construction of the 24.5km Wamba-Waiye-Dengi-Alizaga Road in Wamba and Akwanga Local Government Areas.
The project, awarded to Centerfield Engineering Limited at a cost of N9,061,627,000.00, is expected to serve as a vital economic corridor, connecting communities and boosting agriculture, commerce, and ease mobility.
In his speech, Governor Sule highlighted the significance of rural road construction, stating that it provides enablement for the transportation of agricultural produce and economic commodities from remote areas to urban markets.
The Governor urged the contractor to adhere to specifications and safety standards, while appealing to host communities to cooperate with the contractor and protect lives and equipment.

With the flag-off, Governor Sule reiterated the Administration’s resolve to leave no community behind in its development endeavors, aiming for a prosperous, secure, and connected Nasarawa State.
