* Charges leaders to live to their responsibilities

From Joseph Uchenna, in Makurdi

Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Center, DIGC, worldwide, Dr Pastor Paul Enenche has lamented over the poor governance that has plunged the nation into hardship.

He therefore, charged all tiers of government in Nigeria, to take the gauntlet and live up to their responsibilities in the business of governance and ensure the security of lives and property.

The DIGC Senior Pastor, who said this while speaking with newsmen in Makurdi during his visit to attend the North-Central Regional Convention of the Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International, FGBMFI and the Makurdi Apostolic Invasion organised by DIGC, holding this Friday, noted that the nation is in a season of drought and the people do not need a prophet to tell them that the nation is dry, insisting that what Nigerians needed at a time like this is revival from God and the opening of the Heavens over the nation.

He however, stressed that Nigerians must put their trust in God and they would not be disappointed.

Dr Enenche, maintained strongly that by the time the programme climaxes with the dedication on Saturday morning, he trusts that the Presence of God and His Power would bring hope, peace and joy to the people of the land.

According to him, “this visit is for the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, North-Central Regional Convention, ‘Trusting God for Times of Refreshing’ which is time of revival and also DIGC has an Apostolic Invasion where we are trusting the Lord to establish his purpose and mandate of Dominion in the land.

“We believe also that by the time we have another dedication on Saturday in the morning, we trust that God’s Presence, God’s Power will bring hope, peace and joy to the people of the land.

“We trust God also that there will be physical healings, miracles, signs, wonders and above all progress for the land. This is why we are here.”

Asked what the people of the state should expect from him, Dr Enenche, replied: “What the people of Benue will expect more is what they will expect from God. The Bible says, they looked unto Him and they were enlightened and their faces were not ashamed.

“So I ask the people of Benue that at this season, they should look up to God. Let us look up to Him and let us trust Him to intervene in the multiple challenges of the land and we trust that we can never be disappointed.

“At this time of insecurity in the land, my message is three fold: first, again, we want to trust God to help in our insecurity situation and take charge of our land; number two we ask that governments of the land will take responsibility and do the basic business of governance, which is the security of lives and property and three, that the citizens will not go to sleep but everybody should be wide awake and do what is needed to be done to ensure that their lands and themselves are fully defended.

“We are in a season of drought. We are in a very terrible season of dry season in the nation, generally, nobody needs any prophet to tell us that the land is as dry as dry can be. So we need refreshing from God, we need revival from God, we need the opening of the Heavens, everything seems closed and we trust God that He will give it to us”, he said assuringly.
