The Deputy National Chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), Ali Bukar Dalori, has expressed grief over the infestation of his home Konduga Lacal Government Area, Borno State, by terrorists.
Dalori was at different times a councillor and chairman of the local government decades ago.
Last Friday, a suicide bomber detonated an IED at an alleged drug market in Konduga town, killing 12 persons and injuring 22, who are still hospitalized.
“It is grieving that these terrorists are roaming incognito among you,” the APC henchman said when he paid a condolence visit on bereaved families and those hospitalized, Tuesday, June 24.
“So you should beware of those you interact with, because they are interacting with you without you knowing them,” he warned.
“I will ensure that apart from the troops operating around the state to ensure security, more vigilantes are also deployed around the LGA to avert a recurrence of the dastardly act,” Dalori assured.
He made undisclosed donations to the families of the bereaved and the injured.
