The Benue State Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has constituted a board for the State owned football club Lobi Stars.
Hitherto, the club had no board with the Deputy Governor acting as its Chairman while ex-Nigeria international Dominic Iorfa as Chief Executive Officer, CEO/Vice chairman.
Under the new arrangement according to a statement signed by Technical Adviser to the Governor on Media, Publicity and Strategic Communication Solomon Iorpev at the weekend, the Director of Sports Dr. Philip Nongu is to serve as chairman while Secretary, Benue State Football Association, BSFA Dr. Iorngulum Malu is the Board Secretary.
Other members include, Chief Solomon Andiir – Member, Mr. Harry Yachi, Member, Mr. Francis Ejiga, Member and Sir James Iorpuu, Government. Representative while veteran journalist Uja Emmanuel is Media director.
