From Joseph Uchenna in Makurdi

Senior Pastor Dunamis International Gospel Church DIGC Dr Paul Enenche has stressed that whatever confronts us as a nation at this time, the mercy of God would intervene.

This is even as he charged leadership of the nation as well as leaders at all levels to take responsibility and have a heart for human beings.

Dr Enenche who is in Makurdi, Benue State capital for a two-day healing and deliverance crusade with the theme, ‘Mercy of God’, gave the charge while speaking with newsmen on arrival.

He lamented that insecurity and other forms of ugly situations seem to threaten the fabric of our existence, maintaining that the mercies of God will intervene.

Dr Enenche also, urged Nigerians to pray and seek God’s mercies so that we would not be consumed.

Said he, “We are here to connect with God of mercy. The Bible said it is of the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed because His compassion fails not, they are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness.

“We live in a nation at a time when we need nothing but the mercy of God whether it is insecurity situation or any other form of situation that threaten to consume the land. We are coming to ask for mercy from God to prevent us from been consumed.

“The Bible said they looked upto Him and they were enlightened and their faces were not ashamed. Let us look away from our self and alternatives and look up to God.

“While we work and do our best to do the work of our creator, let us look upto God and trust Him for His intervention. Let the leadership of the nation and leadership at all level take responsibility and have a heart for human beings. We trust God that He would help us”.
