From Femi Mustapha, in Kaduna
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visit to Kaduna State is described as a homecoming for the nation’s leader, who has regarded the state as his second home due to his close relationship with Governor Uba Sani.
A statement on Thursday by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Uba Sani, Malam Ibraheem Musa, said that the president will receive a grand reception befitting for a ‘son of the soil’ upon his arrival.
The statement also said that during his visit, President Tinubu will commission several legacy projects to positively impact the people of Kaduna State, in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The projects to be commissioned include the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development (IVTSD) in Rigachukun, a 300-bed Specialist Hospital, and buses under the Kaduna Subsidized Transport Scheme (KSTS), among other initiatives.
The Chief Press Secretary noted that there will be restrictions on movement in areas surrounding the project commissioning sites and the roads near Murtala Square, where the Grand Reception will take place. He urged motorists and pedestrians to bear with any temporary inconveniences.
The statement also called on the “good people of Kaduna State” to come out in large numbers to welcome their leader.
