Former Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Affairs to Speaker Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and Santuraki of Ebira land, Alhaji Saidu Ugonoh has described the late Hajia Sefinat, mother of former Clerk of the National Assembly, Alhaji Ataba Sani Omolori as a woman of peace who made sacrifices for human kind irrespective of their affiliations and background.
In a condolence message to the former CNA and Ciroma of Ebira, Alhaji Ugonoh extended heart felt condolences to the Kogi state Government, the Ebira nation worldwide as well as the entire Ataba family over this loss at this challenging and grieving moments, stressing that the death of Mama Sefinat has left a vacuum like a big tree that falls in a forest.
According to him , the late Hajia Sefinat was not just a mother, she was also philanthropist and custodian of traditional values.
Ugonoh, an American-based businessman and politician stated that the late Hajia Sefinat lived a life of sacrifice , peace and selflessness; worthy of emulation by all adding that she touched the lives of those who came in contact with her positively irrespective of there status .
“She was somebody I knew personally because of my closeness to the family and I can say without mincing words that she exemplified motherly value that is worthy of emulation. She was kind, prayerful at all times and never discriminated against anybody . Always willing to make personal sacrifices for the good of everyone and I will miss her sorely”
“Death is an inevitable end and we have to take solace in the fact that Mama lived a fulfilling life. I sympathize with the family , I sympathize with the Kogi State Traditional Council, the entire Ebira nation as well as the Ciroma of Ebira land, Alhaji Muhammed Sanni Ataba, son of the deceased and encouraged them to be strong during this very challenging and sorrowful moment.”
He prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed.
