A lawyer and philanthropist, Barrister Ahmad Nuhu Ribadu has donated free fertilizers to over 400 farmers in Yola South and Fufore Local Government areas in Adamawa state.
Distributing the fertilizers on Saturday, Ribadu said that the support was aimed at boosting the production of agricultural activities to reduce suffering among the people in the area.
The initiative, carried out through his team under the Ribadu Media Centre (RMC), aimed to ease the burden on farmers during a period of rising agricultural input costs.
Barrister Ahmad Nuhu Ribadu emphasized his commitment to grassroots development, stressing that agriculture remains the backbone of Adamawa’s economy. He noted that the fertilizer support would go a long way in enhancing food production and improving the livelihoods of farming families.
The beneficiaries, drawn from across Yola South and Fufore, expressed their gratitude to Barrister Ribadu and his father, the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, for their continuous support to rural communities.
Many farmers described the gesture as timely, coming at a moment when fertilizer prices had skyrocketed beyond the reach of average farmers.
Traditional leaders also joined in acknowledging the effort. The Hakimi of Ribadu offered special prayers for Barrister Ahmad Nuhu Ribadu, asking Almighty Allah to bless him abundantly and grant him continued success.
Community members hailed the intervention as not only an act of generosity but also one of foresight.
By reducing the cost burden on farmers, the gesture is expected to help prevent a looming shortfall in rice production within the Yola–Fufore axis.
Barrister Ahmad Nuhu Ribadu, through Ribadu Media Centre (RMC), has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to service, compassion, and grassroots empowerment. His latest initiative adds to a growing legacy of interventions aimed at uplifting vulnerable communities and promoting food security in Adamawa State.
