The youth wing of the Mumuye Cultural Development Association in Yorro Local Government Area of Taraba State, on Monday, congratulated Dr. David Ishaya Kassa on his recent appointment as aide to Governor Agbu Kefas.
The group who conveyed their congratulatory message to Kassa during their visit to his house in Jalingo commended Governor Kefas for making a right choice.
Leader of the group, Pastor Bulus Bitonopah who described the appointment as well deserved said, Kassa has long been a pillar of support for community development and cultural preservation.
The group said Dr. Kassa’s appointment was the best choice, adding that their confidence in Governor Kefas’s vision for the state was further strengthened by the appointment of Kassa who served previously as Commissioner in the state.
Bitonopah expressed deep gratitude to Governor Kefas for recognizing Dr. Kassa’s potential and entrusting him with a significant role in the state government.
“We are immensely proud of Dr. Kassa,” said Pastor Bitonopah. “His previous tenure as Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources showcased his dedication and commitment to the welfare of our people.
“We have no doubt that he will continue to excel in his new position, bringing positive changes to our beloved state.”
“Dr. Kassa’s appointment is particularly meaningful because he has demonstrated competence in the past by when served as Commissioner by improving agricultural practices and promote sustainable development in the state.
“His work has not only boosted local economies, but has also inspired many young people to pursue careers in agriculture and agric business and we are sure he will do well any role assign to him” he said.
Responding, Dr. Kassa thanked the youths for identifying with him and pledged to put in his best to help the administration of Governor Kefas to succeed.
He urged the youths to remain productive and support the initiative of Governor Kefas who has demonstrated inclusivity and strong passion for the development of the state.
