Gov. Sule warns civil servants, politicians against illegal acquisition of wealth

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has warned civil servants and political office holders in the state against primitive acquisition of wealth by all means in the name of service.
Governor Sule handed down the warning while declaring open a two-day workshop on Strict Compliance with the Assets declaration and code of conduct for Public officials in lafia the Nasarawa State Capital.
The workshop organized by the code of conduct Bureau in collaboration with the Nasarawa State government aimed at ensuring strict compliance with the Assets declaration by the Public office holders with the code of conduct Bureau guidelines  across the State.
Governor Sule commended the code of conduct Bureau for organizing the workshop to sensitize public office holders to ensure transparency Accountability and prudent management of public resources.
While noting that the workshop would inculcate moral discipline in the minds of public and political office holders across the State, Governor Sule however explained that his administration had since put measures in place to ensure transparency Accountability and probity in the government Business.
Addressing the gathering, Acting National Chairman Code Of Conduct Bureau Mustapha Aliyu Kankia described the code of conduct Bureau as one of the fourteen Anti graft Agency of government saddled with the responsibilities of establishing  and maintaining the high standards of morality among public servants and called on the participants to ensure total compliance with the code of conduct Bureau.
While admonishing public office holders to ensure Strict Compliance with the Bearau guidelines the Acting National Chairman Aliyu said inline with the current realities the code of conduct Bureau is now running the online Assert declaration to ensure Speedy and easy process of Assets declaration for public office holders.
