Gov. Radda doles out ₦5.5 Million to four COPS in Katsina

Katsina State Governor, Malam Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has doled out N5.5million to four police officer for exhibiting gallantry in fighting insecurity in the state as well as appreciated the cordial working relationship between the state government and all security agencies operating in the state.

According to a statement
by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS), to the Governor, Malam Ibrahim Muhammad Kaulah said that Radda announced this while hosting four the police officers from the state command who received special recognition from the Inspector General of Police for their outstanding performance in combating insecurity.

The Governor acknowledged the dedication and commitment of the officers and men of the command for the great achievements.

Radda reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to collaborate with security agencies to tackle the security challenges in Katsina state and the nation in general.

He said “The Governor announced a reward of five point five million naira (₦5,500,000) for the four officers”

“The breakdown of the reward includes two million naira (₦2,000,000) for the Chief Superintendent, one point five million naira (₦1,500,000) for the Superintendent, and one million naira (₦1,000,000) each for the two Assistant Superintendents of Police”

“The Commissioner of Police, (CP), of Katsina State, Aliyu Abubakar Musa, presented the four officers – CSP Andrew Alphonsus, SP Ibrahim Garba, Assistant Superintendent of Police Awal Kabir, and Assistant Superintendent of Police Iro Shuaibu for the the governor the donation”

Musa explained that the Inspector General’s Award Program was established to motivate police personnel throughout the country.
