The Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation has called on the leadership of the country to ensure justice, fairness, and equity in governance.
The Director General of the Foundation, Engr (Dr) Abubakar Gambo Umar stated this in a statement to felicitate the 64th Independence Anniversary of Nigeria.
Engr Abubakar Gambo Umar made case for the urgent need to improve economic conditions and alleviate the struggles faced by our citizens.
According to him, while the Foundation commended the strides made in enhancing the security situation, there is need to remain vigilant and proactive in fostering peace and stability.
“Let us embrace patience and hope for brighter days ahead as we work together towards a prosperous future for all Nigerians.
“October 1st holds a significant place in our hearts as we celebrate the 64th Independence Day of our beloved Nigeria.

“As we reflect on our history, we honor the vision and sacrifices of our founding fathers—Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, and many others—whose relentless struggles laid a solid foundation for our nation’s independence.
” Their unwavering commitment to unity and progress continues to inspire us as we navigate the complexities of our national identity.
