Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, representing Zamfara West Senatorial district, has commended the Nigerian Army over the ongoing fierce operations against banditry and other criminal activities that are already giving fruitful outcomes in Zamfara and the Northwest region at large.
Addressing the crowd that welcomed him to his Talata Mafara home town on Monday as he paid a thank you visit to the people of the state, Yari said the strategies being applied by the Nigerian Army have clearly indicated that the issue of banditry would no doubt become history in the next one year, exactly when Nigeria will celebrate it’s 65th anniversary as one country.
Yari, who disclosed that he was in Zamfara to say a big thank you to the good people of the state as they had complied with his preaching against flooding into streets in the name of the recently staged nationwide protest, stressed the need to embark on prayers for the successful accomplishment of President Tinubu’s administration.
“It is worthy of note, as diverse religious followers in the country, no administration must succeed without being supported with prayers, therefore, your prayers in seeking for Almighty God’s intervention are highly needed for our leaders to be focused and determined towards making the state and nation better places for legitimate living.
“And it is only when the thoughts of our leaders are filled with the love of the good people that voted them into power and the desire to uplift the country to greater height that Nigeria will be driven to the constitutionally expected destination.
“I am in my own state today Monday, soliciting for your unreserved support and the usual cooperation towards encouraging Tinubu’s administration to conquer security challenges with a view to secure enterprising environments for farming and commercial activities for the quick restoration of the nation’s economy.
“Let’s continue praying for our gallant soldiers to be more courageous to continue to reduce security challenges which bedevil our beloved state, the region and the entire country.
“The victory of our soldiers against the bandits means the return of the lost glory of our economy, other channels that lead to achieving perfect peace, unity and tranquility. Therefore, render your supports as according to your position in the society towards the success of our patriotic soldiers who are fighting the terrorists as directed by the President”, Yari said.
