The Misilli Community Development Foundation, founded by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Spokesman to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has enrolled orphans and children from less privileged homes back into school in Gombe.

These beneficiaries, drawn from various homes in Dawaki Quarters, have expressed gratitude for the opportunity to continue their education, with many citing the significant impact the scholarships have had on their lives.

Speaking at a ceremony held to mark the new round of enrollments, the Commissioner of Education, Ass. Prof. Aishatu Maigari, who was represented by the Director of School Services at the Ministry, Malam Yusuf Abubakar, commended the foundation for this wonderful efforts, assuring for possible collaboration to ensure the educational activities of the foundation are supported by the administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.

“What Misilli has done goes beyond education—this is about transforming lives, empowering the next generation, and giving hope to those who might have been left behind”, the Commissioner stated.

“Our aim is to give every child the opportunity to dream big and achieve their goals, regardless of their background. This is just the beginning, and we will continue to push for greater inclusivity in our educational system in this community”, Misilli said.
