A Chieftain of the Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji Sharu Anka, has formerly renounced his party membership to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with immediate effect.
In a resignation letter signed by himself, Hon. Sharu Anka, said he was compelled to dump the APC following alleged unwanted developments bedevilling the party with no sign for resolution.
“Let me formerly announced that, I was forced to leave the APC by the high rate of injustice, denial of equal opportunity and indisputable lack of unity and understanding especially in the system of running the affairs of the party.
“There is total neglect and failure to recognize contributions given by the party members, and some cliques in the APC have turned the party into unbearable style of family and friends affairs”, Anka has further cried.
He said that his defection did not leave behind a single person playing politics under his political structure across the state.
Hon. Sharu Anka has been a grassroot politician who served two terms as Local Government Chairman of Anka local government council, and four times Commissioner for various Ministries under successive administrations in the state.
