The Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has thanked President Ahmed Tinubu for retaining Kashim Shettima to run with him as Vice President of the Federal Republic Nigeria for a second term in the 2027 General Elections.

Radda made this known in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ibrahim Kaula Mohamned issued to the Citizenship Media in Katsina on Sunday.
In the release, the governor
congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima over his retention by President Tinubu to run as his running mate for a second term.
The Governor reaffirmed that “the decision reflects his confidence in Shettima’s capacity over the years”
The statement further reads: “Vice President Shettima retention reflects his long time efforts, determination, perseverance, performance and loyalty”.
He noted that Shettima led critical initiatives ranging from chairing Presidential Committee on Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), energy, security, administration, economic policies among others.
“I am confident the choice of Shettima by President Tinubu is in view of his performances” Radda said.
“On behalf of the government and people of Katsina State, i congratulate Vice President Kashim Shettima on his retention” Radda added .
Radda expressed confidence that Shettima will continue to bring his wealth of his experience to bear in the administration of President Tinubu in their second term.
