The Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), with a pledged to change the state’s political landscape.
The registration ceremony took place at TY Dajuma House on Sunday in Jalingo, with representatives from both APC and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in attendance.
Kefas noted that his planned to complete the process earlier postponed in a solidarity with the kidnapped Kebbi school children and other victims of insecurity in the country.
He said that a new date for the ceremony will be communicated in the nearest future.
The governor received his APC membership card from Hon. Umaru Tanko, Chairman of APC Hospital Ward, Wukari Local Government Area.
He expressed gratitude to his APC ward chairman in Wukari and the Taraba State chairman for their support and facilitation of his membership.
“I must commend my ward APC chairman, Wukari and Taraba state chairman for the opportunity, I appreciate the warm welcome from the executives and members of the APC in Taraba state,” he said.
