Hon. Jaafaru Yakubu, member representing Bali/Gassol Federal Constituency of Taraba state in the House of Representatives has increased delivery of democracy dividends to bring governance closer to the people in his comstituency.
From roads to water projects, electricity, and community empowerment, Hon. Ja’afaru Yakubu Ciroma (ADC) is making impacts in the lives of rural dwellers and ordinary people in his constituency.
For instance, he has completed major roads network in Tella, and had also completed the Dobeli – Wuryo road, making travelling easier for locals in the area.
In respect of water projects, Hon Ja’afaru provided 15,000-litre tanks each to the College of Agriculture Jalingo, Bali police station, and Tella.
In partnership with the Qatar government and the Ciroma Yakubu Foundation, the Rep member was able to complete 260 water projects across his constituency.
According to a statement by Sirajedeen Bala Gassol, the Senior Legislative Aide to Hon Yakubu, work is ongoing to link Yarima and Gassol with 33KVA transmission lines from Mutum Biyu.
“Youth in Bali and Gassol have been equipped with ICT. And sixty laptops were provided to them.
“Women empowerment is in full swing with 500 women receiving 30,000 Naira each, in addition to the distribution of 250 sewing machines.
“Healthcare gets a boost with new clinics in Tella town and Mararaban Gassol while Ummah Clinic Bali has been renovated.
“Street solar lights now brighten Gassol town, Yerima, Bali, Dan’anacha, Sabon gida, Mutum Biyu, and Mararaban Gassol,” the message said.
It said also said that Hon. Ja’afaru Yakubu Ciroma is delivering on promises, building a brighter future for Bali/Gassol.
