The Nigerian President, Ahmed Bola Tinubu will visit Katsina on Friday to commission some projects in the state.
The Katsina State Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Bala Salisu Zango disclosed this while briefing newsmen in Katsina ahead of the President’s visit on Friday.
Zango noted that among the projects to be commissioned by the President include the Eastern Bye-pass, Dutsinna which links Kano Road and Yandaki by Kaita Road in Katsina Metro.
According to him, the bye-pass will reduce traffic gridlock as well as boost economic activities in the city.
Also to be commissioned is the Agric Mehised Centre which was constructed and equipped by Governor Dikko Umar Radda Administration with modern farming implements and farm inputs to boost agriculture in the state.
He said that Tinubu will meet with stakeholders to discuss critical issues affecting the State especial the issue of security and others matters which need government attention.
He will also meet with stakeholders to discuss and renew some of the electoral promises he made to the people.
The commissioner on behalf of the state government appealed to the people to give maximum support and cooperation for the visit to be successful.
