By Godwin Agia, in Jalingo

An agency, Operation Keep Taraba Clean, has urged Governor Agbu Kefas to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) to attract more development to Taraba State.

The Agency’s State Coordinator, Mr. Iliya Kefas, made this call during a solidarity protest held in Jalingo on Tuesday.
Mr. Kefas emphasized that joining the APC would provide the state with better opportunities for growth and development.
“Gov Kefas should join APC to attract more development for Taraba,” he said.
The Agency believes that Governor Kefas’ defection to the APC would unlock key projects and provide much-needed support for the state’s development, citing the need for improved infrastructure, healthcare, and education in the state.
The protesters marched through the streets of Jalingo, carrying placards with messages urging Governor Kefas to join the APC.
They expressed confidence that the governor’s presence in the APC would bring about a new era of development and progress in Taraba State.
The group also praised the APC for its track record of delivering development projects to states under its control.
They urged Governor Kefas to take the bold step of joining the APC to access more resources and support for Taraba State.
Correspondent reports that the development comes amid speculation about Governor Kefas’ political future and has been a member of the PDP for a long time, but there have been rumors of his possible defection to the APC.
