The Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani has emphasized the essential role of youths in promoting peace, security, and economic development within society.
He made this appeal through the Commissioner for Internal Security, Barrister Suleiman Shu’aibu SAN, during the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) North-Northwest Summit in Kaduna.
Governor Sani encouraged the youth to remain united and to serve as pillars of peace and socio-economic development.
Professor Kailani Muhammad, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), advised young people to refrain from using hard drugs and illicit substances to ensure their well-being and contribute to societal peace.
Professor Muhammad reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the youth and helping them become responsible members of society after receiving a meritorious award from YAN.
Dr. Gloria Ibrahim, the Kaduna State Commissioner for Youth Development, urged youths to embrace peace and security initiatives to uplift the nation.
Additionally, the Emir of Zazzau, Mallam Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, commended YAN’s efforts in promoting peace and security and called on youths to refrain from actions that disrupt public peace. Dr. Ibrahim reiterated Governor Sani’s administration’s commitment to improving lives in Kaduna State.
