From Godwin Agia, in Jalingo
Commuters have bemoaned the washing away of the Namnai bridge connecting Jalingo and Wukari federal highway due to flood in Taraba State.
An eye witness, Chief Nathaniel Ukule, a community leader told Citizenship Daily that the volume of water became very excessive making the bridge to be cut off.
“As we speak travellers from Eastern Nigeria and Benue including Wukari cannot pass to Jalingo.
“They must follow through Garba Chede to Jalingo,” he said.
Citizenship Daily reports that the Namnai is 45 klm away from Jalingo along Wukari.
