A former Minister of Environment, Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi has resigned from the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Abdullahi announced his resignation in a letter addressed to the ruling APC Chairman in his Uke ward of Karu Local Government Area in Nasarawa State.
According to the letter dated June 1st and copied to other officials, the former Minister said his resignation from the ruling party was based on personal ground.
“Notice of resignation as member of the All Progressives Congress. I hereby tender my resignation as member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) based on personal reasons,” the letter reads.
The former Minister thanked the Chairman for the cooperation while he was with the All Progressives Congress, where he made modest contributions in building the party in the State.
He had months ago accepted the call to contest the 2027 gubernatorial election in Nasarawa State in response to contemporary realities.
Abdullahi had served Nasarawa State in various capacities, including as Secretary to the State Government.
