The Nigerian Nursing Council is set to revalidate the registration of all nurses in Katsina state to flush out quacks in the profession.
The Katsina Director of Nursing Services, in the state ministry of health , Comrade, Haruna Mamman disclosed this while briefing newsmen in Katsina on ministry of health disclosed while briefing newsmen in Katsina on Wednesday.
Mamman said that the registration of practicing nurses will commence from June 2nd to June 6th.
“Members of the committee from the national headquarters of council had already written to us that they will be in Katsina as from the 2nd to 6th June for the registration” the Director of Nursing Services added.
He called on all practicing nurses to avail themselves for the registration to avoid any embarrassment.
According to him, the registration is meant for qualified nurses working in public and private hospitals in the state.
