Leaders of Rivers State and other notable political figures gathered yesterday

at the New Year Luncheon hosted by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.
Those at the luncheon included leader of the Rivers State Elders Council, 86-Year-Old Chief Ferdinand Alabraba, former NBA President, Chief OCJ Okocha (SAN); Senator Magnus Abe; former House of Reps Deputy Speaker, Hon Chibudom Nwuche; Ambassador Desmond Akawor, Senator Alwell Oyesoh, House of Assembly Speaker, Martin Amaewhule and other members of the House, among other notable leaders.
Also at the luncheon were the Governor of Edo State; Monday Okpebholo, Senators Adams Oshiomhole, Philip Aduda, Sandy Onor and Mao Ohuabunwa, as well as the PDP National Vice Chairman (South South), Chief Dan Orbih and his APC counterpart, Victor Giadom.
