The Kogi State Government has encouraged all Primary Health Care workers in the State to ensure total compliance with adequate nutrition by eating right and staying healthy.
The Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Mrs (Pastor) Ayoade Folashade Arike, made the statement during her supervisory visit to participants at the ongoing Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN) Training Course at Riverton Hotels Lokoja.
The Kogi scribe who commended the World Bank, Nutrition Department, Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare through the Accelerated Nutrition Result in Nigeria (ANRIN) urged the Participants to be focused and attentive to the learning processes as knowledge in the training is expected to be stepped down at their various
facilities in the Local Government Areas.
Dr Ayoade, however, commended all facilitators for their commitment to ensuring that adequate and desired knowledge is impacted into the targeted audience.
Meanwhile, the training, which commenced on Monday December 17 2024, is expected to last till 23rd December 2024.
