As Nigeria celebrates its 64th independence anniversary, the Action Alliance (AA) Party has called on the Federal Government to do the needful in other to reduce the current hardship bedevilling the citizens.
The National Chairman of the party, Dr. Hon. Adekunle Rufai Omo-Aje, disclosed this in a statement in Kaduna today (Monday).
Dr.Hon. Omo-Aje said that it is an open secret that Nigerians are passing through a difficult time caused by insecurity and inflation.
He called on governments at all levels to do their best to put the necessary machinery in place to ensure that Nigerians see the light at the end of the tunnel soon.
He, however, alluded to the transformational strides of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and its obvious deliveries in poverty eradication, security of lives and property, infrastructural development, and the total well-being of the citizenry.
Omo-Aje particularly commended the Military’s onslaught against bandits in the Northwest, saying the elimination of some bandit kingpins in the region has revived the hope of residents, especially farmers who can freely go to farms now.
The AA Chairman added that despite all the recorded successes, the Government needs to do more to ensure that Nigerians enjoy the dividends of Democracy.
He assured President Tinubu and the Leadership of the People of the unwavering support of his Party and constructive criticism where necessary.
