The presidency, Wednesday, confirmed President Bola Tinubu’s plan to reshuffle his cabinet any moment soon.
Special adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this to newsmen in a press briefing at the Aso Rick Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Quoting anonymous  sources, the media space has been awash with reports of the imminent cabinet dissolution, ostensibly as a result of the poor performance of some ministers.
The confirmation by the presidency has, however, put the speculation to rest.
Onanuga, however, said he could not be specific about the exact date that President Tinubu would effect the changes, noting that it might be sooner than later.
He said: “The President has expressed his desire to reshuffle the cabinet, and he will do it. I don’t know whether he’s going to do it before October one, but he will surely do it.
“So that’s what I will say. He has not given us any timeline when he wants to do it, he has expressed his plan he wants to do it.”
Corroborating Onanuga’s affirmation, Senior Special Assistant on Digital and New Media, O’tega Ogra said: ”I also like to add some things to what Bayo Onanuga said. We also need to realize that the President’s decision to  reshuffled is also based on empirical evidence.
“You know, he has said it  during the retreat for the ministers that he was going to, you know, they were going to have periodic reviews, and the decisions that are extracted from these reviews will be used to make that final decision.
“I know he’s gotten a couple of reports, and as Mr Onanuga has said, when he’s ready to do that, I believe he will.”
The ministers were appointed by President Tinubu in August last year.
Onanuga also disclosed that the President had directed the Ministers to publicise the activities of his administration as undertaken by their various ministries.
“Go out there and publicize the administration’s successes,” Onanuga quoted the President to have told th e Ministers.
He noted that some ministers were hesitant to speak publicly, adding, “Many Nigerians believe the president isn’t doing much, while the government is actually making significant strides.”
Tinubu emphasized that his Ministers should focus more on communicating these achievements to the public, according to Onanuga.
