The President of the National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, NASME Hon. Theo Nnorom has called for stronger collaboration and greater support for Nigerian Micro Small Medium Enterprises, MSMEs in advancing enterprise development, market access, financing, competitiveness and opportunities for sustainable business growth.
The NASME President made the call when he led members of the newly constituted National Governing Council on a courtesy visit to Minister of Trade and Investment Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole.
A press statement by the National Publicity Secretary, National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises NASME Hon Gadafi Asemanya jnr made available to Citizenship Daily on Tuesday, said the meeting marked an important step towards deepening public–private sector partnership and creating greater opportunities for Nigerian small and medium enterprises.
According to Gaddafi, the Minister for Trade and Investment Dr. Jumoke Oduwole expressed her commitment to supporting NASME and strengthening collaboration with the Association in advancing the interests of Nigeria’s MSME sector.
She said the Ministry identifies with SMEs in empowerment, market access and public-private collaboration among other priorities.
The visit of the National President of NASME Hon Sir Theo Nnorom,and the Goverving Council is an ongoing strategic partnership with critical Stakeholders in SMEs, to uplift the economic potentials of the 774 local government council across the 36 State and the FCT.
