The Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Sunday bided farewell to the 17 EU diplomats at Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport, Katsina, as they departed to Abuja, after attending the Eid-el-Fitr Durbar in the state.

According to a statement by Malam Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Chief Press Secretary Governor said that before the departure, the diplomats were hosted to a strategic breakfast meeting that lasted for over three hours.
Mohammed said that the Envoys expressed appreciation on what they saw across the state, especially the colourful Durbar held in Katsina and Daura Emirates and the Dumurkul Model Smart School initiative by the Governor.

The Deputy Governor, Malam Faruk Lawal; Secretary to the State Government, Abdullahi Garba Faskari; Chief of Staff to the governor,Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; and other members of the State Executive Council accompanied the Governor to the airport to see the diplomats off to Abuja.
