The All Progressives Congress (APC), Taraba State youths under the umbrella of (Hope for Taraba 2027), on Friday staged a solidarity walk round the street of Jalingo, calling on senator Emmanuel Bwacha to contest for the 2027 governorship election.
The Youths while briefing journalists at the NUT House, described Governor Agbu Kefas’ administration as a mistake Tarabans will ever live to regret.

Hon. Abdulrazak Mahmud Limam, leader of the group and Wilson Oguche, APC youth secretary both said the abysmal performance of Governor Kefas was fast taking Taraba to a decaying State.
“After a close watch of Governor Agbu Kefas’ administration, we have observed that the governor is rather taking Taraba state backward instead of we progressing. This is away from party line, it is about development of Taraba.
“His abysmal performance is fast taking Taraba to a decaying State. We appeal to President Bola Tinubu to save us from the mess by supporting Senator Emmanuel Bwacha to become Taraba state governor in 2027.
“We want Senator Bwacha to liberate the state from the current situation and rescue us from the impending danger of been place top on the global poverty index map,” the Youths solicited.
The group insisted that Senator Bwacha’s track record across southern senatorial district was a clear evidence to believe that the 2023 APC governorship candidate will deliver on the citizens desire to place Taraba on the global map of economic and human development.
“Coming to APC is not enough conviction to support governor Kefas for second term. Governance assessment research has shown that Kefas administration so far is the worst ever in the history of Nigeria governors, and we are practically feeling the negative impacts here.
“We cannot just support Kefas because he is now in APC. We want development that generation to come will be proud of. We want the outside world to see us as people who crave and think development.
“Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has done well for the Southern Taraba and we believe that if given the chance to serve as governor, Taraba will become a new home for the world,” the group said.
