From Femi Mustapha, in Kaduna

Comptroller Aminu Sule has officially assumed leadership of the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone B, Kaduna, Nigeria Customs Service.

He succeeds Comptroller Alkali, who has been redeployed to Onne Command. With a wealth of experience and a distinguished career, Comptroller Sule is poised to make a significant impact in his new role.

This was contained in a statement
Chief Superintendent of Customs
Saidu Nuruddeen, Public Relations Officer, Federal Operations Unit, Zone B, made available to the media in Kaduna today.

The statemen stressed the importance of data-driven strategies in combating smuggling, protecting Nigeria’s economy, and leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

The statement added that the Federal Operations Unit Zone B will strengthen ties with sister security agencies, border communities, and compliant traders to foster a united front against smuggling.

“FOU Zone B will be relentless against smuggling, uncompromising in its duty, and unwavering in its loyalty to the mission of the Comptroller-General. Our goal is to support the Comptroller-General in delivering a monumental legacy of a reformed, modernized, and globally respected Nigeria Customs Service.”

The new Controller warned smugglers and economic saboteurs that FOU Zone B is fortified and determined to deliver results.

He urges all officers and men of the unit to work together with courage, unity, and unyielding determination to safeguard Nigeria’s economy and secure the country’s borders.
