The late Ibrahim Bello
The First Class Emir of Katsina Gusau, Dr. Ibrahim Bello is reported dead. He died on Thursday at a private hospital in Abuja after a brief ilness.
This was disclosed by the Secretary to the Katsina Gusau Emirate Council, Alhaji Sambo A. Sambo, saying the Emir died at the age of 67.
The late Emir, Dr. Ibrahim Bello was turbaned on the 16th of March 2015 during the administration of the former Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.
The late Dr. Ibrahim Bello was the 15th Emir under the lineage of a close Companion of Jihadist Usman Dan Fodio, and the first Emir of Gusau, Sheikh Sambo Dan Ashafa.
The deceased left behind wives and number of children and grand children. He was a registered nursing personnel who paid immense contributions towards building health sector both in Sokoto and Zamfara States.
