The Nasarawa State Police Command has announced the recovery of a stolen Toyota Camry with registration number LFA 77 ST.

The announcement was contained in a statement by the command Public Relations Officer Ramhan Nansel and made available to journalists in Lafia.
The vehicle was stolen during an armed robbery attack on the residence of Aliyu Tijani, a staff member of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), in Lafia on July 10, 2025.
The police command launched a manhunt for the fleeing suspects and initiated efforts to recover the stolen vehicle.
Credible intelligence led to the recovery of the vehicle in Akwanga, and detectives attached to Akwanga Division successfully retrieved the vehicle from the Lagos Park Area of Akwanga.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Shetima Jauro Mohammed, commended the officers for their prompt response and the residents of Akwanga LGA for their cooperation and timely provision of actionable information.
He urged the public to continue supporting the police by reporting suspicious activities, assuring them of confidentiality and security.
The vehicle has been moved to the police station for further investigation, and the police command remains committed to apprehending the suspects and ensuring justice is served.
