The Taraba State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mr Ella Aji Williams, on Tuesday, tasked corps members posted to serve in the state to inspire progress.
Williams made this call during the closing ceremony of the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation course at Sibere in Arodo-kola local government area of the State.
He encouraged corps members to inspire progress in Taraba State by utilizing the skills they acquired during the orientation course, even as he urged them to make a meaningful contribution to the development of their host communities and the state at large.
Williams further explained that Tarabans are very hospitable and encouraged them to relate freely with their host communities.
While thanking Governor Agbu Kefas for his timely support to the NYSC, acknowledged the governor’s commitment to the success of the scheme in the state.
“Let’s your presents inspired progress in Taraba state, I most reiterate that your security and well-being remain the cardinal priority of the NYSC, remain vigilant and avoid adventure and ventures that can compromise your safety, cooperate with your local authorities.
“As you proceed to your respectful places of assignment, I employ you all to remain proactive, purpose driven and morally upright, let the value imbibe here guide your every endeavor.
“The people of Taraba state are known for their warm hospitality and diversity, embrace your host community with sincerity and respect and engage yourselves in tangible engagements and make vital contributions through your community development projects,” he said .
